FISHTRAP ANTHOLOGY 2008 - GUIDELINES

The Fishtrap Anthology publishes work by Fishtrap participants and instructors.  We will take submissions of work inspired by Summer Fishtrap Workshops or The Gathering.

RIGHTS/COMPENSATION: Fishtrap requests "one time rights." All other rights remain with the author. We accept previously published work or work accepted for publication elsewhere. Please notify us if your submission has been or will be published elsewhere. Each contributor receives two contributor’s copy.

LENGTH: Prose, less than 1500 words. Poetry, 1-5 poems. You may submit more than one piece and/or in more than one genre.
ART: We like photos and line drawings. If you want art work returned, please include an appropriate SASE.

FORMAT: Manuscript form. The first page should have full name, address, telephone number (and e-mail address). Please indicate which workshop or Fishtrap event inspired your submission. We prefer to receive submissions electronically (send to zanni@fishtrap.org) but if you don’t have access to email or a computer we will gladly accept a hard copy of your submission.  If you do send a hard copy, it would be a great help to us if you’d include the piece saved on a disk.

AUTHOR INFORMATION: Provide a brief bio with your submission.  You may also include a statement about a workshop, someone who helped you, or a situation that led to the writing.

DEADLINE: Postmark by September 1st.
