Enterprise – Ms. Barstad’s 2nd graders

Posted on May 1, 2014

The second graders in Enterprise were instant poets! We wrote poems about growing up, dreams, our favorite animals, and more. Sometimes we even let our poems get a little silly. Have a look:

The Cute Kitten

By Madycyn Iyala

The kitten is cute like a puppy.

The kitten can be nice or mean.

The kitten can be cuddley like a puppy or a bunny.

A kitten is short and small.

A kitten can be brown, black or orange.

The kitten can be white, yellow or even gray.

A kitten hisses when it is mad or if the kitten is protecting itself.

And a kitten meows when it is happy or if it is talking.
