NODYA PAPINEAU is a 26-year-old mother, writer, book lover, coffee enthusiast, outdoorswoman, and 5th-generation Wallowa Countian. She currently lives in Enterprise with her two daughters, where they have been known to throw impromptu dance parties, invent magical lands to explore together, and snuggle up with a good story at the end of the day. Nodya’s journey with Fishtrap began in her early teens when she first got involved in programs offered to local youth. In 2017, she attended her first Summer Fishtrap, and the rest is history. Nodya graduated from Enterprise High School in 2018 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in English and Sociology from Eastern Oregon University in 2023. She served on Fishtrap’s board of directors for three years before being onboarded as their office administrator, where she hopes to serve not only the organization that means so much to her, but her beloved community as a whole.
