SFG Youth Digital Stories Now Available

Posted on Sep 10, 2015

As I mentioned last week, during the school year of 2014 Fishtrap launched its first youth digital storytelling program “Fishtrap Story Lab” at Joseph Charter School. The program was coordinated by Cameron Scott and was met with great enthusiasm by all. For the last two years Kim Stafford and Perren Kearns have joint taught an adult digital storytelling workshop at Summer Fishtrap. This year we were lucky enough to have  Katie Basile and Shelley Toon Lindberg agree to teach a youth digital storytelling workshop using the Day 4 Youth 1equipment available through Fishtrap Story Lab, for ages 10-14. The theme of the  workshop was the physical and emotional scars that each of us possess and the stories accessible through them.

Each student produced their own digital story that are now all accessible on our website under the heading “Programs” and the subheading “Fishtrap Story Lab”
