Devon Maxwell grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and visited Wallowa County for the first time when she was only nine months old. Summers spent with her grandparents in Joseph influenced her to move to the County full-time in 2021, where she dove into the literary and communications world, helping anyone from independent authors to public servants hone their storytelling craft. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Lewis & Clark College, her Master of Arts in Legal Studies from Santa Barbara Colleges of Law, and a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Northwestern University. She enjoys reading, writing, coaching volleyball, and hanging with her fur babies, husband, and friendly house ghost.
