JENNIFER HOBBS grew up on a small farm near Mt. Rainier and studied English Literature and Biology at the University of Puget Sound. She moved to Wallowa County in 1999 after working in high tech for many years and traveling the planet for a while. She enjoys theater, music, cooking, making amateur films, coaching soccer, and hanging out with plants and animals (both wild and domestic). She lives on the Lostine River with her family.
