Tracing our Poetic Family Tree – SOLD OUT (Join the waitlist)
“Where do your poems come from?” This question comes up a lot in Q & A sessions and interviews, and it’s a great question. Where indeed? If our poems had great-grandparents, who would they be? We’ll discuss our creative influences and share our favorite poems by others. Participants are also invited to bring a favorite poem of their own to share, along with a few words about their process. In this generative workshop, we’ll respond to a series of prompts which will generate perspectives, insights, inspiration, and onramps to new work. By the end of our time together, you’ll have a fresh set of ideas on which to build new poems.
