Teach a Creative Writing Workshop at Fishtrap
Do you have a topic that you are excited to share with a small and diverse group of writers? Fishtrap is now accepting proposals to lead monthly generative writing workshops and classes. Each month, Fishtrap offers in-person and online experiences for creative writers of all ages. Workshops range from a single morning class to a month of weekly meetings. Pick a format and number of sessions that fits best for you. All topics and genres are welcome.
To submit a workshop proposal please send a title, genre, a workshop description showing participants what they will get out of the experience, a short bio, and high resolution photo. Tell us if you would like to lead the workshop online, in-person at Fishtrap’s event space in Enterprise, or offer a hybrid option with people attending both in-person and online.
Fishtrap pays workshop instructors a flat rate plus hourly based on the number of workshop hours. Workshops are generally limited to 13 participants but we are flexible depending on the nature of your workshop.
Please send proposals and questions to Fishtrap Program Director, Mike Midlo.
