Fishtrap is working to bring our region more access to live-theater programming for drama lovers of all ages. Highlights include the return of Missoula Children’s Theatre to Wallowa County this November, presenting our kids in a performance of Sleeping Beauty.
In March, playwright and past Fishtrap Writer-in-Residence E. M. Lewis brings a staged reading of her new play Strange Birds, inspired by her time exploring the landscapes and stories of our area.

Fishtrap is once again partnering with the Wallowa Valley Music Alliance on productions of youth musicials under the direction of teacher/composer Amy Fairchild. Her Eagle Cap Youth Musicals program will be presenting Elves on Strike: The Sequel at the OK Theatre December 14-16, 2024.
