Building Healthy Families provides various life and educational resources for families in need. Fishtrap is involved in their free-of-charge after-school program, and an active educator in the alternative education classroom.
The Josephy Center for Arts and Culture provides a gathering place to celebrate, promote, and inspire arts and culture in Wallowa County. Fishtrap relies on our partnership with the Josephy for venue space, educational resources and creative collaboration to help provide exposure to arts and culture to the general public.
The Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center collects, preserves, and interprets the history of the logging community of Maxville and similar communities throughout the West. Fishtrap works with Maxville to provide local students with a more representative glimpse into the past.
Wallowa Resources strengthens our community through land stewardship, job creation and education. Fishtrap partners with Wallowa Resources to provide the ‘A’ (arts) in STEAM education within their youth education programs including WREN and Outdoor School.
Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness is a safe zone for students and adults where they can confidentially seek out mental health services. WVCW is a superb local resource for public health and safety information.
