Fishtrap and Joseph Charter High School present a short play showcase
Wednesday, May 7
6:30 – 8:30pm
Fishtrap – 107 W. Main St. Enterprise
Free Admission
Come for a fun, intergenerational evening of short plays written by Joseph Charter ninth graders and performed by their instructors and local, Wallowa County actors. Supported by Fishtrap Writer-in-Residence Eric Braman and ELA teacher Cameron Scott, students have brought to life everything from toothbrushes to army tanks in stories of friendship, courage, love, and humility.
“The students have created a series of original plays that are nothing short of magical,” said Braman. “We want to celebrate these incredible youth writers.”
In addition to Braman and Scott, MidValley Theatre Company actors stepped up to take roles in the showcase so the young playwrights can see their work performed in front of a live audience. The free, family-friendly showcase takes place at Fishtrap, 107 W. Main St. in Enterprise on Wednesday, May 7 from 6:30-8:30pm.
